The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has declared that it will be closed on Monday, December 25, 2023, in observance of both Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas.
This announcement, by the Government of Pakistan’s declaration, includes commercial banks, resulting in a three-day closure from Saturday to Monday.

In tandem with this, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has also confirmed its closure on December 25, aligning with the aforementioned public holidays.
The Cabinet Division’s annual list of public holidays designates December 25th as a nationwide public holiday, contributing to the three-day break for the public and financial institutions alike.
