The Embassy of Japan in Pakistan has introduced the MEXT Teachers Training Scholarship 2024, specifically tailored for Pakistani teachers with a minimum of five years of teaching experience in primary or secondary schools, whether public or private.
Teachers aged 35 or below are eligible to apply for this scholarship opportunity.
The primary goal of this training course is to provide Pakistani teachers with the chance to engage in research on school education in Japan. Participants will have the opportunity to learn innovative methodologies and teaching techniques from Japanese experts, contributing to their professional development.
This annual scholarship programme, provided by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT), aims to support foreign educators who wish to conduct research on education at specific Japanese educational institutions. Successful applicants will be categorised as teacher-training students under the Japanese Government MEXT Scholarship program.
Course Duration and Certification:
The training course spans a maximum duration of 18 months, focusing on non-degree coursework. However, upon completion of the required program at the Japanese university, participants will receive a certificate recognizing their accomplishments.
