The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has released the official bank timings for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
The State Bank of Pakistan, along with all other banks, DFIs, and MFBs, will observe the following office hours according to a circular released by the Banking Policy & Regulations Department:
Office Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 09:00 a.m. to 03:30 p.m. (with a prayer break from 02:00 p.m. to 02:30 p.m.)
- Friday: 08:30 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. (without a break)
Public dealing hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 09:00 a.m. to 02:00 p.m. (without a break)
- Friday: 08:30 a.m. to 01:00 p.m. (without a break)
It’s important to note that these timings will be in effect throughout the month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak. Following the conclusion of Ramadan, the timings will revert to their pre-Ramadan schedule automatically, as per the announcement by the central bank.
