After initiating the official teaser campaign for its upcoming Redmi Turbo series, the Chinese brand under Xiaomi’s umbrella has swiftly confirmed the launch date, specifications, and design of the inaugural phone in the lineup, dubbed the Redmi Turbo 3.
Accompanying the Turbo 3, Redmi is set to unveil the Redmi Pad Pro, boasting a remarkably similar camera design.
As previously hinted, crucial specifications have now been officially disclosed alongside the design and launch particulars. Powering the Redmi Turbo 3 is the freshly announced Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, promising top-tier performance.
Coupled with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, the device is geared for seamless multitasking. Additionally, an advanced cooling mechanism is incorporated, facilitating prolonged gaming sessions.
In terms of design, the Redmi Turbo 3 boasts a sleek and lightweight profile, measuring a mere 8mm in thickness and weighing 179 grams. The flat display is expected to surpass 1080p resolution, potentially featuring an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, although Xiaomi has yet to confirm this. The rear of the device will house only two cameras, with a single selfie shooter completing the setup.
Accompanying the Redmi Turbo 3, official renders of the Redmi Pad Pro have also been unveiled. Alongside these visuals, key specifications have been divulged, including a generous 12.1-inch diagonal screen with a 2.5K resolution and an impressive 10,000 mAh battery capacity.
The highly anticipated launch event is scheduled for Wednesday at 4 PM Pakistan time. While speculation abounds regarding the possibility of marketing the Turbo 3 internationally under an alternative moniker – the Poco F6, Xiaomi has yet to provide official confirmation.
