CM Maryam Okays Provision of 1kv Solar Kits In Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved the provision of 1kW solar systems to 50,000 families in the province, as decided in a meeting to review energy projects.

The solar systems will be provided to protected power consumers utilising under 100 electricity units per month. Each eligible family will receive two solar plates, batteries, an inverter, and wires as part of the project.

Emphasising the importance of quality products, CM Maryam Nawaz urged the administration to ensure that the masses receive reliable solutions to alleviate expensive electricity issues.

Furthermore, she directed the administration to commence the pilot project in the province swiftly.

In her first address after assuming office as Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz outlined her vision for the next five years. She pledged to devise a plan specifically tailored for consumers utilizing less than 300 units of electricity.

During her tenure, she prioritized providing employment opportunities, enhancing education, and improving healthcare services.

“I am devising a plan to facilitate consumers by providing solar panels in installments to those using up to 300 or fewer units of electricity,” she stated.
