The Punjab government has launched an e-license system developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) in collaboration with the School Education Punjab department, for the online registration of private schools in the province.
The e-license system was launched by the Education Minister of Punjab, Dr Murad Raas, in a ceremony that was held on Friday in Lahore. The minister while addressing the ceremony said that e-licenses will enable the owners of private school to register their institution with the provincial government without the hassle of running after files and corruption.
E-Licence System – Registration Details
According to the views of Education Minister, it is an historic moment of launching E-Licence system from which anyone can submit registration process through home. It is the easiest and convenient process of registration online for the community of private schools.
The another good news for private school owners are to submit their schools registration without any cost but the procedure will be relaxed upto March, 2021.
Last Date for registration is Monday, 1st March, 2021
With the help this system, School Education Department can create a complete data of private schools in Punjab. Because Govt has not data base record of private schools in Punjab. School owners can also submit fees online for obtaining e-licenses.
Minister also briefed that total number of 26,000 private schools have been registered through E-License system. The system will also have the option of renewing e-licenses annually.
