JS Bank Becomes First Bank in Pakistan to Promote Online Banking Due to Covid-19 Implement Zero Transactional Charges

JS Bank has introduced a business continuity plan to counter the spread of the Corona Virus in order to protect internal and external stakeholders.

The Bank has made precautionary steps, distributed masks and sanitizers globally, disinfected work areas, and thermal scans for staff, customers and other tourists available across the entire Bank. Paramedic teams have also been deployed throughout the region. The Bank has also switched to the skeleton model of team strengths that operate on a revolving basis of 50%. Digital approaches are also under consideration, so that the home model works entirely.

While ensuring continuity of the provision of full-fledged services to customers, the Bank has reduced the number of operational branches in overlap areas to reduce the chances of transmission of Corona Virus.

In an unprecedented move, JS Bank became the first bank in Pakistan to waive all transactional fees on ATM, Internet & Mobile Banking till 30th April 2020. Customers can now bank when and where they want as per their convenience without having to move around or visit crowded spaces.
