Plan to Watch PSL Live?Check Traffic, Parking Plan During PSL 5 Matches in Karachi

The traffic police disclosed the plan of traffic for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) scheduled matches starting February 20.

For cricket fans, four parking sites are installed during the matches. Urdu University Ground, Gharib Nawaz Football Stadium near Millennium Mall, Expo Centre and Rana Liaquat Girls College opposite Aga Khan Hospital at Stadium Road are the places where fans can park their vehicles

In a statement released by traffic police, fans who will come to watch the match must show their original ticket along with their original CNIC to enter the stadium while shuttle service will be available for the fans to reach the stadium.

According to the traffic police, more than 1,700 police personnel will perform duties and traffic police chiefs will be present at different points during the match.

General public entrance will not be allowed to enter from sharea Faisal, Dalmia road and new town, however, heavy traffic will be closed from Sohrab Goth to Nipa, Liaquatabad to Hassan Square, People’s Chorangi to University Road and Karsaz to Stadium Road.

Residentials living near the stadium will go to their homes after showing national identity cards while University Road, Shaheed Millat Road, and Rashid Minhas Road will be open for traffic for the convenience of the citizens.

Karachi will host nine matches of the upcoming edition. Matches will be held at National Stadium from February 20 to 23, while matches will also be played at National Stadium from March 12 to March 17.

It must be noted here that Kings will play their first match against Peshawar Zalmi on February 21 at National Stadium Karachi. The league’s first match will be played between defending champions Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United after a mesmerizing opening ceremony.
