According to interior minister Rana Sanaullah’s statement on Tuesday, the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGIP) has created an application that allows all passport payments to be done online, saving users time from standing in long bank lines.
The minister said in a tweet that online passport payments will end lengthy lines and time-consuming bank visits.
Another initiative of facilitating people and digitizing govt payments has been materialized by the interior ministry. I’m pleased to announce that DGIP has prepared an app to accept online passport payments putting a full stop to long queues and cumbersome trips to the banks.
