Lucky Motor Company (LMC), the manufacturer of Kia vehicles in Pakistan, has announced significant price reductions for its Sportage variants, effective March 4th, 2024.
The prices of Sportage models have been slashed by up to Rs. 300,000, with the Sportage Alpha witnessing a reduction of Rs. 250,000. This adjustment comes in response to Kia being among the first car manufacturers in the country to announce a major price increase earlier in 2024. Consequently, the Sportage Alpha was one of the affected models.
Moreover, prices for the Sportage FWD, AWD, and Limited Edition have been reduced by Rs. 300,000 each. As a result, the Sportage Alpha is now priced at Rs. 7,300,000, FWD at Rs. 7,740,000, AWD at Rs. 8,470,000, and the Limited Edition at Rs. 9,000,000.
The Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) declared price increases of up to Rs. 180,000 for a number of its models last week.
Among the affected models, the 660cc Suzuki Alto variants saw increases of up to Rs. 110,000. Consequently, the Alto VX is now priced at Rs. 2,331,000, Alto VXR at Rs. 2,707,000, Alto VXR AGS at Rs. 2,894,000, and Alto VXL AGS at Rs. 3,045,000.
The Suzuki Cultus AGS experienced the most significant increase, rising by Rs. 180,000 to a new price of Rs. 4,546,000. Similarly, the prices of Suzuki Swift GL MT and Swift GLX CVT were raised by Rs. 85,000 each.
